I have a few more pictures to share that I took for class. These were taken of a sweet Golden Retriever that Todd & I spent a weekend with. We were at a house with our Christ Group friends for a couples retreat. The doggie ended up being a perfect subject for shutter speed experimentation.

These pictures are absolutely wonderful! Great job! Makes me want to get a fancy camera, too! :-)
You can get a basic SLR that comes with a basic lens for around $700-800. It's actually pretty cheap compared to the high ends which can cost $1,200 into the high thousands. Though, not as cheap as a $200 point & shoot, it all depends on what you want to do with it :)The pricey part is investing in different lenses, especially good quality ones. I want to get a macro lens for up-close, a telephoto for long distance, & one that takes good indoor shots with low lighting...ha, so it will be awhile before I get all those :)
Thanks for your nice comments too, I appreciate all the encouragement!
