A memorable outing in July was spent with Todd’s family at the zoo. We always enjoy getting to see family, even if only for a day.
Ada really loved the animal show! We asked her what her favorite thing was of the day, and that was it, especially when they brought out a skunk (no photo though) :)
My favorite portrait lens quit working so I decided to just use my phone on 4th of July. That morning we drove up Mt. Baker Highway and hiked Horseshoe Bend. Ada did the 3 mile round trip hike just fine, she’s a natural. This was the start of many hikes this summer for her. After our hike we drove into Bellingham that night to Todd’s work for a great view of the fireworks (inside and warm).
