Fair Day

I totally forgot to post this. I had the stomach flu pretty bad on Friday night then slowly recovered with aches and pains over the weekend. Today is the first day I feel somewhat normal.

I was not planning on going to the fair this year, but ended up going last week after I was bribed with a free ticket. My friend Jessica, her son Jimmy, and I spent a short day viewing the animals which, you should know me by now, is my favorite part. This year they added a reptile and a baby farm animal exhibit. Jimmy was brave enough to touch the tortoises which can be pretty intimidating to a little guy. The sheep looked quite sporty in their royal blue jerseys this year too :)

I also just got my replacement Canon f1.4 50mm lens so I hope to get some good use out of it. The first one I was sent did not work after a couple of shots so my fingers are crossed with this one. If only I had the lens for the fair, those goats would have looked amazing with a strong bokeh ;)
