A little over a week ago we drove up the mountain in hopes to see lots of bald eagles. We heard they gather in large groups this time of year because of the salmon. We did see a few, but not many close-up. Across the river in one spot there were at least 20 in the trees, but only specks to our eyes. We will try this area again soon!

Reminds me of seeing them here on Scappoose Bay and also out of LaPine, near Bend. Beautiful!
