These photos were taken late last summer towards the end of lavender blooming season. The bees were busy weaving in and out gathering the last of the pollen. The honeybees and bumblebees make me smile and look forward to warmer times again. My name also means honeybee (or honey) and so I have a fondness for these little creatures and a healthy fear of them too :)
