Oops, these were the only pictures I had left for her 21 months post (she is 22 1/2 months now), taken over a month ago before Halloween :)
Ada is starting to say more phrases and understand consequences. One example is how she knows what happens when she falls down. She often says “careful, fall down, bump head.” She loves containers and sorting coins, pom poms and other small objects. She seems to know the colors green and blue (sometimes purple) but often defaults to green for other colors too. She knows patterns and shapes like polka dots, hearts, and circles. She is learning numbers and knows when there are 2 of something.
About pictures: we all participated with Ada’s pumpkin this year. Ada cleaned it out, I carved the face and Todd roasted the yummy seeds! Ada had a lot of fun pulling out the pumpkin seeds and getting her hands all slimy. I usually enjoy this part too, so next year I may need to get my own pumpkin :)
