4 Months

Ruby is definitely a blondie now. As an infant she had a red tint in the light, but it’s more of a caramel blonde now. She is developing more and more of her sweet character but is definitely a momma’s girl :)

Kite Festival

At the end of August we visited the Long Beach Kite Festival with family. Ada had fun on the drive down with Tom, Cindy, and Bryden. The kids also had tons of fun playing in the sand and water. Unfortunately it was SO windy we only stayed a couple hours including most of the kite fliers who started to pack up. Afterwards we headed back to Olympia to visit with Kali and little miss Layla.

NW Fair

Ada had so much fun at the fair this year. She really looked forward to the rides and did really well going on some all by herself. Ruby had a good time too :)

Faithlife Picnic

Every year is pretty fun at Todd’s work picnic, mostly because of all the food readily available. This year was extra fun for Ada (and me) with a cute little petting zoo. We got to pet a large rodent called a mara, wallabies, pot belly pig, and baby bunnies. This was also the first year Ada wanted to try out the activities such as the bungee trampoline and climbing rock wall.
