Ada had a lot of fun playing with her older cousin Holden. She loved to scream at him which was her way of expressing excitement. Holden was not so sure about the high pitched screams, but he did love to give her hugs and kisses.

A couple weeks ago I flew down to California to visit my family and meet my newest nephew, Aiden, for the first time. He is adorable and a very sweet baby!
I spent the first half of my stay with Matt & Cherise and the rest with my parents. Ada had lots of fun meeting most of the family for the first time and playing with her cousin Holden. I’ll have a few more photos of our trip soon.
Ada is crawling now. She decided to do so while visiting family in California. This new milestone also makes taking her portraits a lot more challenging because she will not stay still. Thankfully my Mom was able to distract her long enough for this shoot, not so sure about future ones :)
I have a little bit of catch-up to do. We have been busy busy busy with family events over the last couple of weeks. At the end of July we traveled to Oregon so Ada could meet her extended family (on my side) for the first time. On our way home we got to see Todd’s family in Olympia.

Ada just started to blow bubbles (raspberries?) and make “fun” sounds at the same time. We often laugh when she does it.
The two of us spent the day with some friends and took a few pictures at Boulevard Park in Fairhaven, it was a beautiful day for it.
