Ada’s four month check-up went well, she is healthy and growing! She is in the 90th percentile for height already and will most likely be taller than me someday :)

16 Weeks
Almost there, only a couple more posts to catch up. It is taking longer than I thought it would.
Ada had fun playing with the knit toy I made a few years ago. It is supposed to be a monkey, but looks more like a rat :)

Mother’s Day
I had a lovely first Mother’s Day spent with Todd’s family this year. We also got to meet the newest addition to the family, baby Bryden, he was so cute and tiny at two weeks! It’s amazing how little they start out, I forgot just how small Ada used to be :)

Something about turning thirty was tough this year. I know thirty is young because I feel young (except for my creaky knees) but still, I think I have a right to feel hesitant about getting older :) I think the weeks leading up to my birthday were worse because the actual day was not too bad. It was rather nice and I got to spend it with my two favorite people! I also received some beautiful flowers from family & friends.
We had a hard time getting Ada to look at the camera, she was sooo fascinated by the sushi conveyor belt. I was fascinated too (it being my first experience) but I did manage to look at the camera :)
Fairhaven Walk
We spent the Saturday before my birthday (May 2) in Fairhaven because it was a beautiful day. For those of you not familiar with the Northwest, a “beautiful day” refers to sunshine and a temperature above 50 degrees :) The cherry tree blossoms were also gorgeous so I had to take a few (more like 100) pictures as usual. We ended the day with ice cream from the Colophon CafĂ©, yum!

Weeks 14-15
A few more weekly make-up shots to show how much she has changed, if you can tell. I’m loving polka dots these days too :)

So Long Mosey
For those of you who followed the tales & adventures of Cheesecake and Mosey that chapter has now come to a close. Mosey joined Cheesecake in greener pastures a few weeks back for some new adventures. They will be missed.
A few old pictures when they were both young and spry :)
Easter
I never got a chance to post from Easter Sunday on since my computer died shortly thereafter. Todd and I also got a nasty flu bug that week, thankfully Ada did not get it.
We had a wonderful Easter brunch & sermon at church and then were invited over to a church family’s home for dinner. Todd’s sister also had her sweet baby boy Bryden that evening.
I loved Ada’s Easter dress, it was a gift from my dear friend Jen.
17 Weeks
In case you haven’t noticed it’s been a while since my last blog post. My computer died and my sweet husband had to spend his free time fixing it, so be sure to thank him :)
Ada is already over four months old, I can’t believe it. She is discovering her voice and loves to let out little screams these days. She still loves to suck on her hands… the whole fist or three fingers or two fingers or thumb…whatever she can fit. Ada can also grab her feet now which is pretty cute.
I will have a few make-up posts coming shortly.
