3 Months

Ruby started to roll from front to back at the end of 2 months. She can hold herself up for a good little while on her tummy. When she gets tired on her tummy, she rolls over or screams to be helped :) She also loves to suck on her hands/fingers and drool a lot!

Ruby became much more expressive this month with more sounds and lots of smiles and laughs. She does a cute little cough when she is happy. She also enjoys her diaper being changed, something which Ada did not like at all :)

2 Months

Ruby is growing like a weed and almost out of her 3 months clothing. She is holding her neck fairly well and can look around for a short time. She really started smiling this month and talking to us with coos and other cute sounds. It’s so fun when babies start to interact.

1 Month

I decided to reuse the month-by-month onesies and fabric from Ada’s first year photo shoots to compare Ruby’s growth. I was also gifted 12 months of stickers which I thought would be fun to use and include Ada.

Ruby definitely has a reddish tint to her hair in the sunlight, but overall it’s light brown in color. She is a pretty good sleeper and had a few nights of over 8 hours in a row. She goes back and forth just when I think I can sleep through the night :)

Mother & Father’s Day

A few pictures from a couple special days.

For Father’s Day I wanted to get one more use out of the onesie I originally made four years  ago, so it made total sense to make two new shirts for Todd and Ada ;)

The girls’ shirts say I LOVE DADDY in binary.

Water Rocket

A couple weeks after Ruby was born Todd and Ada built a 2 liter-bottle rocket. Ada picked out the colors and designed the base. The bottle started out shooting about 6 feet up into the air but after a few weeks of fine tuning, it got up to about 40 feet.

The neighbor kids had fun helping and watching the initial testing of the rocket. I did not get any more pictures of the launches, but Todd has a video he’ll post on Facebook :)

Weeks 1, 2, & 3

A few picture from the first 3 weeks of Ruby’s life. Baby’s are fun the first few weeks. You can put them anywhere, such as a basket, and they will stay put :)
