Ada is getting closer to walking every day. She can stand and will even take a step towards something until she realizes she is not holding on.
She is also such a little ham when we go shopping. Ada (usually) loves to smile, wave and scream with delight at people. She is very entertaining :)
Our friend’s Dad was playing Santa in a nearby town so we thought it would be fun to get some pictures with Ada and her friend Noah. Poor baby, Ada did not like Santa very much. Noah did fine since he knew it was his Grandpa.
Ada was rather funny. She would cry, stop crying to look back at Santa as if to see if he were still there, see him and then proceed to cry some more. She did this a few times repeatedly.
I guess we needed the classic crying baby on Santa’s lap picture :)
We have a tradition every year of picking out trees with our friends who live right across the street. Marla, Breanna and Dylan always make for a fun adventure as we get matching trees, though we get a shorter one and they get a taller one. This year we went with a bluish tinted Noble Fir, they both are very pretty :)
I am a little sad this was our last year with the Explorer, but we love our new Pilot!
42 weeks: In Seattle for her Uncle Keith & Auntie Samantha’s wedding. She loved sharing in their special weekend.
43 weeks: The bear snow suit was getting a little snug, so I needed a picture before it was too late.
44 weeks: Spent Thanksgiving with our friends the Bensens. Ada had started to wave (& want things) by reaching and moving all her fingers at once.
45 weeks: Ada loves to browse through magazines and catalogs :)
Ada is starting to feel comfortable letting go with both hands when she stands. We encourage her to clap while standing and she will, but only for a short time. She is also enjoying books more. Flipping pages, talking to the characters and chewing on corners are a favorite pastime :)
Ada enjoys clapping, giving kisses and pretend coughing (after we cough). She is so full of life and energy!
In the bottom picture, I knit her little heart hat with the pom pom. My first fully completed project for Ada :)
