Todd is officially three decades old today! He is one amazing guy and I am so blessed to be a part of his life. If you get the chance wish him a Happy Birthday!
Here are few pictures taken before his guys night on Saturday.

Here are the last of the aquarium pictures. The sea otters were adorable, so furry and playful. The harbor seal was watching me take pictures, it was pretty cute too.
If you look closely the river otter is holding his tail while sleeping, it might even be in his mouth :)
Here are a few more pictures from the day. They are a little out of order but I wanted to let the otters & seals have their own post.
Oh, and Fair is in reference to the 1962 World’s Fair for which the Space Needle was built… I was racking my brain for another appropriate word that started with F :)
On our way home from Portland we decided last minute to hang out in Seattle to avoid I-5 rush hour. We ended up at the Seattle Aquarium for a couple hours. The facility is beautiful. It’s a little pricey for its small size, but I think I got my money’s worth in pictures.
The Giant Pacific Octopus…aka Captain…was extremely active and alert. It was fun to watch him move around his tank.
More to come…
My parents flew up to Portland for a ministry related conference this past weekend so we decided to drive down and see them. We were able to spend time with all our extended family as well. It was a wonderful visit, but too short as always.
Saturday we had lunch with my Dad’s side and then spent the night with Dean & Beth in Canby. Sunday we had a home church service, which I loved because I got to hear my Dad preach. We then went antique shopping in old town Aurora. I had a lot of fun taking pictures in one of the shops. Afterwards we spent the afternoon with my Mom’s side.
That night we stayed with Lamar, Cathy & Brittany. Monday we had breakfast with the family then headed for home.
My friend Julie and I walked a pretty trail this past Friday in Lynden. We brought our cameras even though it was overcast and had fun shooting random things. My darling husband bought me Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 for Valentines so I have been playing around with different looks and downloadable presets. It’s a lot of fun. I do appreciate the art of good pictures straight from the camera, but this program will help me be a little more creative.
